Absolute fantastic little museum. I visited with my partner who lives with autism and we had a blast. We were given a sensory map which was a massive help. There are free sensory backpacks to loan free of charge which we found to be very helpful. They contained overhead ear defenders, fidget toys and a lanyard which prompts the wearer to look out for different things. Access to vehicles were unmatched. We loved sitting in the available vehicles and using the interactive displays. We finished our visit at the cafe for some toasties which were reasonably priced and very nice. Overall 10/10 day out. Friendly and accommodating staff. Plenty to look at and interact with and get up close and personal with almost every display item.

Great place lots to see and learn for kids. Lots of different uniforms for fire and police you are able to try on and a few interactive exhibits. It would be nice if you could get in and look around the fir engines outside but really enjoyed with kids ages 5and 3 if they like that sort of thing. The entry cost is a bit of a negative for it as I think it a little high
