    My wife and I went to Ask in York, located in an old meeting place with large marble pillars. The service was quick served by friendly staff.     I wish i could ask an italian about why this was a terrible experience. They had one overworked poor little italian boy doing all the work. He may have been running for 2 hours straight but my food certainly wasnt running out of that kitchen. It took us a solid half an hour to get our bill, and all the food arrived at random times. When we tried to settle a discount issue his rude manager was more concerned with chain smoking out the back than helping us. You could smell the smoke from a table away. Absolutely demoralising experience, won’t be recommending.
