What a hidden gem. My favourite place of 2023 so far! We ordered - ✨Shifta Burger with fries- Burger comes with 2 shifta patties which are full of flavours so you could have a juicy bite of beef in every bite. Loved the Beharat fries as well. They were seasoned with some mild spice mix & a sauce which was sooo good. ✨Mezze Dips- It comes with a selection of dips and a Za’atar bread. Their Red pepper dip is to die for. So yumm! The dips are good enough for 2 breads. Veggie Mezze- Kubba dumplings were so tasty that I might order a separate plate of kubba dumplings when I visit next. 7 spice chicken and rice- The chicken was so tender yet juicy and flavourful. So so good! All the dishes were amazing but my fav was the shifta burger with fries. Highly recommend this place for good Kurdish food.

Delicious food, very reasonably priced, excellent friendly service, very pleasant ambience and BYO as well - not a box left unticked! Highly recommended. 14/4/23 Unfortunately I have to add to this a somewhat disappointing caveat: when we first visited this establishment we took our own wine and were not charged corkage. On our last visit we were told that everyone drinking BYO wine would be charged £5, so the two out of four of us who were drinking had to pay £10 (more than the wine cost!) for the privilege of drinking our own wine. If all four of us had shared the bottle we would have had to pay £20 to share an £8 bottle of wine. This is clearly ludicrous, especially as we spent £65 on food and other drinks. The restaurant really should rethink this policy, which is clearly profiteering and spoils a really excellent dining experience. I emailed the restaurant to ask them if they thought this policy was justified but they have chosen not to reply.

Absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend. A really nice selection of well thought through dishes, each with their own distinct taste. We tried: - the Kurdish pickled veg - nice though not sure how it was different to any other pickled veg I’ve ever had! - the hummus - yum! - the smoky aubergine and chickpeas - delicious! - the sausage and barley stew - very tasty indeed! - the meat dumplings - these were the standout favourites of the show, taking us by surprise! It’s BYOB with £5 corkage per person. My only recommendation is to ask to please put your menu online (eg on your website not just photos on Insta!) I want to rant and rave about you and people would truly start drooling when they saw the dishes you have on offer.

Going to be in the minority here Having wanting to go here for ages, I have to say I was disappointed. There are better food options still around and definitely better similar types of food either nearby or in London. Had the spice chicken which was fine but nothing special, the meat patty was dry. The baklava was the best thing here. If you live nearby and you have no means of transmitting to other places then it's fine

My first Kurdish food experience! Friendly staff, cozy interior, and of course food way above expectations! The orange juice was freshly made and its prob one of the best orange juice ive ever had, tried the tamatay ron and the aroma is amazing! The aubergines are so tasty, the samun bread is crispy, everything is just perfect here! Honestly was craving the shakshuka but accidentally ordered tamatay ron, still a wonderful choice! The portion is big enough too.
