WELL.... to start, didn't get the room I booked. It was a wedding gift to my new husband. I'm very disappointed. Was given a bottle of warm presseco as an apology for them messing up, which they the receptionist did own up to... not good enough.. Breakfast staff customer service was not good at all, various issues but one was I asked for some brown sauce it came in a desert dish full to the top which a member of the team literally through on the table and walked off. I'm appalled, I thought this hotel would be a pleasure to visit, just glad I didn't choose them for my wedding venue. Phew.. Lucky escape.

Where to start... the mulberry suite, nice but no four poster, which we'd booked. Sorry about that, it's our fault, but there's nothing we can do. I'd waited along time for this 'treat', a wedding gift from my new wife. Only to be told that.. shameful, disappointing service. Given a warm bottle of Prosecco as an apology. Better leave that for a while in the ice as it wasn't in the fridge was the instruction from the bar staff. Stay was OK after that but breakfast service wasn't all that great. Customer service is so important these days. You got it horribly worng this time
