Food was very good. Staff were polite and friendly. My wife had a curry, asked if she would like chicken or beef added, which she did; it arrived with 4 thin strips at an additional £4 cost - very poor. We sat at our table at 7.20pm I paid the bill at 10.00pm. 2 hrs 40 mins for a 3 course meal. I certainly do not like being rushed during my meal but this amount of time was not acceptable. Although the staff were polite, at no stage was there any apology for the time it took to serve us. Or is this time the norm. I received a response and all it said was sorry that we were disappointed with our visit and hoped we would go again. No mention whatsoever about the cost of the chicken added to the dish nor any comment about the time taken for the meal. Very very disappointing. All I can say is, good food, very poor service.

Lamb was fatty and chewy. Service was slow. Waiting came to take order, saw that sun was shining in our eyes and moved us to another table. Great. BUT then didn't return to take our order until we managed to catch someone's attention. Ages before dessert menu offered and then ages before order taken. Restaurant wasn't exactly full!

A very pleasant meal. The food was lovely. I had the seabass, which was done beautifully .. the linguine was a bit bland, but the pork belly was delicious . The service was extremely friendly but so slow, the main meals came our reasonable quickly but, we all ate our desserts at different times as ice cream was melting. As a result we ditched the idea of teas and coffees and went home instead. We were right under a speaker playing background music . It was quite loud, so conversation was a bit difficult. I like meals out for making time to chat, so this was a bit annoying. I like the buzz in a restaurant to be created by the people eating and talking, etc.
