Celebrate with Sam
I have been a part of Nabas for almost two years and I would be lost without them. They offer so much support and someone is always on hand to help and offer advice whenever needed. I attended my first PIE event last week and it was amazing. I was working along side some of the best in the business and learnt so much. It was a great opportunity for meeting up with friends I've made along my balloon journey and I've made plenty more. Looking forward to another year ahead with my Nabas family :)

Amazing day at the AGM training day - we created a safari themed set up - all the instructors gave great instructions and shared all their skills/experience so we all had some fantastic ideas to take back to our own business. plus we got to meet other balloonies to share ideas. Joined a few months ago and completed the Nabas one course which taught me many skills I use today. I find being the cost for being a member of NABAS very reasonable and well worth the monthly fee considering the benefits you get ongoing not just now and then. Plus the facebook group has been a godsend. Do glad I found nabas

Joined Nabas in 2007 after doing a Level 1 course with the lovely Janey Bacon, but mainly so that I knew I had public liability insurance. In the last five years it has become the leading trade association and the only one run by members. The benefits you get for your money is amazing, discounted purchases at wholesalers, discounted training, a 5 star insurance policy, regular zoom meetings to support members, a closed fb page for members, access to lots of resources to help your business, and friendly members who support each other. I can’t recommend them enough.

Would recommend to everyone in the balloon and events industry, for no personal gain at all, just the belief it's the best backing you can have. Having started my journey in the Balloon Industry by joining NABAS an enrolling on their Level 1 course over back in 2007, I've been a proud member, knowing I am safely covered for any liability claims, as they have the most comprehensive policy backed by the best in the business, Hiscox. 6 years ago it underwent a complete revitalisation with the arrival of the new chairman, George Oustayiannis who with the creation of a closed facebook group and discounted training events for members introduced me to a huge network of fellow professionals. Member owned and not for profit, all extra proceeds are reinvested back into projects and initiative to support and benefit the members. It's so much more than just insurance, it's business leads, events, support, business resources and unrivalled commitment to providing more, for less than 50p a day.

I have been a Nabas (National Association of Balloon Artists and Suppliers) member for the past 15 years and they have always been their for me when I have need help with regards to insurance and my business. Also when there is new ideas and inspiration they are there to help you along the way. The Nabas Level 1 training is an industry recognised certified course, which I highly recommend that you do before starting your balloon business. The training team members are so good and they have so much passion about the balloon industry. I highly recommend that if you are look at starting a balloon business you need to have insurance.
