16/01/23: called Great Barr practice to be told it’s close and should call Handsworth. Called the Handsworth surgery to be told it was closed and should ring Great Barr! So many issues with this surgery, the way it’s run and the quality of care

I've been with this doctor's surgery for 20 yrs plus. I really appreciate the staff. Dr Chitre is the main man for me he once opened up the surgery after he locked up and checked my son over to find out he had a chest infection. Santoch is a brilliant nurse always accomadating keep up the good works

I have yet to manage to get an appointment after several attempts... Have been told to ring at 8-30am on one occasion, after 4-30 on another, I was then told to ring at 'exactly 4 o' clock'... I said to the receptionist 'so not a minute before or not a minute after?'... 'No' she replied...You could feel her embarrassment as she realised what she'd said.

I really can't understand the bad reviews on here; it's a good surgery, with good GP's (that I've had experience with anyway), and the front of house staff are helpful, courteous and accommodating with appointments as best as they can with the diary/what's available. The repeat prescription service is excellent/efficient. I've just booked our flu jabs, and the receptionist couldn't have been more helpful. They have done our family proud, over the years and continue to do so. I for one, thank them sincerely and feel very lucky that they are our local surgery.

I don’t even wanna give 1star.. the worse GP service ever. You die before you get an appointment and the Doctors phone DONT WORK. But they quick to send a voicemail saying “you didn’t pick up” when it’s your phone that’s not working. UGHHHHH BAD SERVICE.
