Mytchett skatepark. Has gone through some change recently. Newly furbished ramps with NoFear surfacing. Everything is too big for novice skateboarders... But it's nice and relaxed nonetheless. There is a half pipe with small extension, a rather large ramp to euro with a ramp down into a quarter. There's a tall rail on this ramp. There is a flat on the top. There's also smaller (excellent sized) manny pad with a round rail ledge. It's slightly curved; very fun. The half pipe flat is a good height for practicing manuals :-)

Just tried the new skatepark they just re-built and for me, it is a dream. Great for air tricks like briflips and buttercups but not so good for fly-out. Not much space to land a fly-out tricks as the gate is only about a metre from the lip on the ramp. The coping is great and make you pop up for air tricks giving you more time to bring the deck down. Overall great skatepark, if good at air tricks then i 100% recommend!!

Very limited with badly fitted and maintained steel components. The site itself was very wet and boggy

For a local amenity it's great. There is a small park for little people that is all fenced off. A large field to play in, and a couple of skate ramps. The ramps are old and not the best, but for kids that can't travel its something at least. There is parking and there is also a tennis court to use. The Mytchett lawn bowls is also here so on a nice summers day you can sit and watch this traditional village sport. After Christmas you can also leave you Christmas tree there to be recycled and used for paths in local parks.
