Dreadful. My mother had a fall at home in 2012, when she'd become increasingly prone to falls. Consequently I'd started 'phoning her every day. However, one morning I didn't 'phone her, because the doctor was supposed to be visiting her. That afternoon I had a call from NY police control, saying a neighbour had reported unusual activity: the curtains, usually open by 7am, had remained shut all morning and she couldn't get an answer when she called. The police broke in and found her collapsed by the 'phone. She had collapsed the previous evening. The doctor never turned up for his appointment that morning. His criminal dereliction of duty could've resulted in her premature death. Also, another doctor at the practice sends out threatening letters to pensioners who keep driving after 'failing' a highly suspect and definitely ageist driving 'assessment' by a private firm. AVOID. DO NOT USE THIS SURGERY.

You need to change your opening times displayed on the door and on google to show that you close for lunch. It shows the correct times on the myhealth website, but not on the door or on a google search.

In 2015 I attended the MyHealth General Practice a few times. One time in particular was the worse treatment of my life and remained the last time in the practice. I had an appointment to have blood samples taken and the healthcare assistant I was appointed to conduct the blood taking seem to be very inexperienced and unable to do the job. I got her attempt it 3 times on both my arms at the bend of the elbow until I got fed up and asked politely for another nurse to do it, she refused to get me another nurse and said she will "just try a couple more times", which she did on the top of my hands with no success again after which she told me to go to either ASDA or York Hospital to get my bloods taken. I was absolutely upset, frustrated and felt abused to an unbelievable extent so I contacted the practice to get me to speak to their branch manager to report what had happened and to seek my rights. The woman I spoke to seemed very understanding and nice through the phone explaining that she will investigate my case further. A couple of weeks later I received a 3 page letter from Ms. J. Rowe - the practice manager, saying that the HCA that attempted to take my blood was "very experienced", that they treated me even though I was late ONCE for an appointment(completely unrelated) with 14 minutes(even thought that appointment was at another clinic in Strensall of which I was not informed of at the time of me booking it), she then blamed me for making her doctor "late" even though I waited 31 minutes to be seen. Then she discussed an anonymous questionnaire I had filled in with the presumption it was me, of course, stating that my disappointment stems from my presumably high "expectations of the NHS" AND of course the letter had to finish on a slight threatening note that in the NHS they have "zero tolerance towards abuse and the comments" that I had made were reported to her to be "borderline abusive" and stating if they have a repeat of this "incident" they will have to ask me to move to another practice. Oh trust me, I did that AS SOON as I read through her letter. Absolutely no discussion on the battery that was conducted on me or the professionalism of her staff, just mainly me being late for one unrelated appointment and me being "borderline abusive" for asking the receptionist to speak to a manager. Okay. I suppose they are not only absolutely unaware how to draw blood but also what the definition of "abuse" is, which is exactly what I received from their healthcare assistant on my rights. Overstepping a patients request for another nurse is a medical battery and is punishable by law, however from the victim I was made to be the villain - for being late and being upset I got stabbed 5 times by the same inexperienced HCA. After all this I was left with weeks of achy and bruised arms and a threatening letter from the manager. If you wont proper healthcare service, go to Haxby Group, just 5 minutes up the road but definitely worth the trip.
