We have been in Stamford Bridge a year and fortunately haven't had to use the surgery very often. When we have, I have been impressed with the online responses and the friendly, professional staff. As a former NHS worker, it saddens me to see complaints about the NHS, when it is the government's responsibility to fund it properly.

Truly awful communication for this lot. Booked us into the wrong surgery and when I didn’t notice was told “well you were told”. Rebooking was like they were doing me a favour. Was also told by rude reception staff that there were no other appoints left. When questioned it appears that was a lie. As a health care professional myself I am shocked.

The online service is a life saver for people like me. The female staff that have worked with me are fantastic, I can’t thank them enough.

Helpful and kind staff, understands the situation and does their best to help the patients. I never had such great service and compassion from any GPs so far in the UK.

This is for both Strensall and Stamford Bridge MyHealth Surgery. Where do I start! My Father has suffered a cat bite. 82 years old and has a Horrendous swollen hand. After the Doctors finally called and gave a prescription for antibiotics, his hand has gotten worse. My mother spent half an hour on the phone this morning to have the phone put down on her, so she then went down to the Surgery to explain the situation to the receptionist asking that my father needed to be seen as she was very worried as to how swollen and sore his hand had got. She was told yet again how busy they were (in an empty surgery) to then be sent home and told to await a call. The doctor finally called at the end of the day after 6pm and told my mother to take my father to A&E as he needs fluids. WOW! The doctor expected my Father to go to A&E at this time to wait for 8 hours minmum before he is to be seen, I dont think so!. If the doctor had said he was going to ring ahead and make sure my dad was going to be seen that would have been acceptable, but to expect him to sit around a waiting room is completely out of order. He is exhausted and poorly with it all. Why could this not have been done first thing this morning when my mum made every effort to see a doctor. Why a whole day delay? Where is the patient care?

Can’t get hold of anyone to get a phone call appointment. Have been waiting all day for a call back to tell me when I’m in the front of the queue.

I have just visited the surgery in stamford bridge to book an appointment with the nurse for a review, as the phone queue is always to long, and the online system which I have tried to use many times does not work ! You are trying to discourage people from been at the surgery, so get the systems working better.I have read many of your reviews and I think if there is a management team in place why are you not totally ashamed of a rating of 2.2? Someone needs to take control of this and fast

On Thursday, 04.11.21at around 10.30am I was driving the Stamford Bridge. I am recovering from a urinary infection and rather than wait until arriving at Pocklington, I felt it best to stop and nip to a loo. Despite not being a patient, I went to the surgery. A receptionist was taking her time dealing with an enquiry. After 10 minutes another female appeared. I explained my situation, is recovering from a UTI and although I was not a patient could I nip to their loo. I was about to explain I didn't want to go to the public loos to they are often quite dirty and to avoid hen recovering from a UTI. The female wasn't listening to me, and ina very abrupt manner directed me to the public loos. I was upset about the attitude of the female. I left, arrived in Pocklington where my friend immediately allowed me to use her loo. A thoroughly horrible encounter. What an awful reply from the surgery; based on other reviews, is it surprising?!
