Not very impressed. Was told I needed a filling & intensive gum treatment. Went to another dentist for a second opinion. No filling needed, no other treatment necessary! 6 monthly check up

I booked my son in to see the hygienist for 4.40pm. I was contacted late morning to say that the appointment had been cancelled for that afternoon, no reason was given. Two days later I called in to the Practice to ask for another appointment only to be told that they had cancelled the previous one as my son was the only patient that day and it wasn’t fair to ask the hygienist to come in for one patient .

Arrived for my sisters appointment for a supposed hole in her tooth. They examined my sisters tooth and said she had a hole in it and an infection that would require a root canal surgery or a tooth extraction, the surgery itself was not explained and any questions I asked in regards to what they had told her went unanswered and I was ignored multiple times, my sister is young and quite vulnerable so I took control with trying to ask questions so my sister could better understand. We were told to go downstairs and book in for a check up, they couldn’t get in her until the new year for this even though she was in severe pain and it was not explained why she was coming in for another check up when they knew the issue and she needed the surgery to be booked in. Nothing was explained at all and as I work in the NHS in a patient facing role I was appalled at the care given by these healthcare professionals and the lack of communication with patients.
