3 years on after an "emergency apointment" for a broken crown 6 of my teeth have shattered, the crown was fully removed leaving the tooth beneath exposed for 7 months, my teeth were 'cleaned' but the younge dentists was so rough I feel she did more harm than good! She removed small fillings my previous dentist had put between my lower front teeth to protect them as I constantly got food fast in the small gaps between them, when I asked if she was going to replace them she said they weren't fillings but tarter, I explained that they were fillings and why they'd been done, but she still argued that they weren't fillings, consequently the very thing they were done for has happened and one of the teeth has lost almost half the tooth. Another tooth had a point on it she filed it off that tooth has now shattered. I waited 7 months to get the issue I'd gone with she botched it and the tooth had to be removed.Worst Dentist ever

Years of lies telling me a crown will be next, then telling me oh no we don't believe in crowns, years of shoddy work that comes away after (in some cases) only a day and then months of pain waiting to have the same shoddy work again. Now I'm told I have no dentist because Charlotte is uncomfortable seeing me. Taking profit over the care of the patient us deffinaty a priority here and I'm looking forward to complaining formally and even legally, I would not recommend this dentist to anyone who values there teeth. Small children may be ok here but sadly it's pay or go away for everyone else. Lovely people however but then isn't that how every cinman/person acts?

After the hospital lost my denture after surgery, I rang you to make an appointment with RACHEL to get a replacement denture. I was given the 8th Dec to come in and have an assessment. Rachel was so kind knowing that I had only been out of hospital a short time. After the check up Rachel did all the impressions ect and today 22nd Dec I went to pick up my new denture. They are brilliant. Thank you Rachel for been so gentle. I hardly knew that you had done 2 fillings and cleaned my own teeth as well. I have always been nervous at dentists but you made me feel so relaxed. May I wish you, your family and the staff at the Newland practice a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Karan😀

This practice is a joke not dentist. They don't care patients totally. And ladies from reception desk are extremely lazy and useless even when you need urgent visit. Never go there. Pick up other practice.

My little one was not well I had to stay in Leeds hospital with him around 8 months. I had an appointment with them during that 8 months and I called from Leeds to cancel it. But they still classed my appointment as a missed appointment and took my name off from the dentist. Very poor communication with receptionist, Even after calling and cancelling the appointment 24 hour earlier they didn’t update it. When I called them for a appointment the telephonist was extremely rude. When I explained my circumstances her reaction was she isn’t bothered.

I went private, Petros did my check up, I cried and he was so reassuring He also did my scale and polish, I was so nervous and he made me feel at ease, he stopped when I needed him too and he went at my pace and explained everything he was doing

-5 stars The worst dentist surgery in Hull, My Dentist on Newland Avenue, strikes again... Poor Dylan has got a rotten/infected tooth, so I rang My Dentist first thing this morning, only to be told that he’s no longer a registered patient. They said that he’d never actually attended an appointment there (not true) and that he hadn’t turned up for two appointments in 2018 and 2019 (also not true, he’s always attended every appointment he’s ever had, apart from ones they have cancelled due to Covid). When I asked the receptionist if the practice manager could please give me a ring back, she rudely replied that that wouldn’t be possible and I’d have to send her an email. This is the second time this has happened, so I’m now spending hours on the phone to 101 trying to get an emergency appointment for a five year old who is in pain and can’t eat on one side of his mouth. It was bad enough when they did it to me and I ended up with a massively infected tooth socket and in pain for weeks on end while I tried to get an emergency dentist. Now they’re doing the same thing to children. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Terrible practice, been in pain for over a week rang everyday to be told no appointments available, ring back again tomorrow same again. 111 said they have a duty of care to follow and can't leave you in pain so I told them this and they ended the call. Will never use this practice again
