I was recommended Karine by a friend who was very happy with her tuition. Karine tutored my son for his year 11. When he started with her he wanted to drop French GCSE and had been told at school he would not pass. He has just passed his foundation GCSE with a 5 which is the highest grade on foundation. Thanks to Karine who rebuilt his confidence in the subject which consequently changed his attitude and the subject for him. It has been a pleasure to watch how far he has come, and for him to see that his effort and hard work completely changed his result. I would highly recommend Karine to anyone needing help for GCSE. Karine has been helping my son to catch up with his French curriculum since we moved to London 2 years ago. Most recently, she helped my son to prepare with his Winchester Entrance French test , and he has successfully passed. Karine also tutors my 10 year old daughter, she is always able to keep the lessons fun but as well as firm with the children when she needs to. At the end of Year 7 we realised my son needed help with French, especially in order to pass 13+ Common Entrance exam in Year 8. After some search I decided to have Karine to design a tailored intensive course for him over the summer holiday - the improvement was significant and he gained so much confidence that he carried on having weekly tuition. He thoroughly enjoyed Karine’s lessons and always finished with a smile and shared with me what he learned. He soon became the top performer of the non-native speakers in the whole year group at school and achieved high marks in listening, speaking, reading and writing of all the assessments including CE. We were very pleased with the amazing result and would not hesitate to recommend Karine to anyone who needs French tuition for CE or GCSE!
