Emelia is a truly lovely teacher. She is flexible, patient, and has an instinctive, organic approach which ensures the fundamentals are covered whilst providing opportunities to play beautiful pieces. I look forward to lessons and feel very encouraged by the progress she has effected. As a pensioner, I thought the task of learning the piano from scratch would be slow and arduous but with Emelia's help I am playing pieces, in just a few short months, that are beyond my expectations. I would recommend Emelia wholeheartedly: she is personable, talented and has a lovely sense of humour. She is perfect for me but has the lightness of touch that will suit all ages. A clear 5 stars!
