It has been 4 months and the progress that this company has made has been exhaustingly slow. We have been told that we will receive our completion date ‘at the end of the week’ for a month now. There is no rush or speed at all, nothing is communicated. We have rang around 20 times and every time we ring we are told our solicitor isn’t available and have to speak to someone on reception. We have had to send various documents through multiple times as they haven’t been saved or were lost. This included bank details which is very concerning. For the amount we have been charged it’s honestly appalling. Would really advice choosing another company.

This company are so poor at communication. I can never manage to get through on the phone; send emails and takes days for a reply which fails to address the concerns. Slow to action things. Started the process of selling my house 5 months ago and still not completed. Buyers using same solicitors and feel likes they are finding the tiniest thing to query to raise costs. Really wish I had never used them.

If you are looking for poor customer service and last minute anxiety then this company is for you! We were initially very happy to use this company despite it being online as my partner previously had used them with great results! Unfortunately it seems their service has become much worse since we last used them. Little to no communication during parts of the process led our estate agent to constantly chase them and asked us to do the same. Emails were left unanswered and half the information our buyers required was sent but most was missing. We chased for weeks and I believe this is the only reason the sale and purchase went through quickly, that and the fact it was a small chain. The online account was one feature my partner really liked last time, but due to an IT issue that was never resolved it stayed looking uncomplete even until now and onwards. Yet another issue we encountered with this company.... Finally, the evening before completion we have now been asked for some additional information at 4.45pm...this is impossible as the information we needed will take 3 days to come through. This has caused so much stress and anxiety and we were not even called to be told this. It was emailed and we are now left not knowing if have a home tomorrow. It should have been a red flag when an initial meeting was booked for the 30th February! Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Pls avoid, Had a very experience with them. They just talk sweetly over the phone but don’t acknowledge the urgency of the matter. Very poor correspondence with seller’s solicitor lead to a long delay of the transaction. They start of being cheap but try to charge more over period of the transaction. They gave me a lot of stress and learnt my lesson hard way. Go with good solicitors who may charge more but take complete responsibility of the application.

I use my home move conveyancing you think it’s cheap but at the end I was charge 800 pound for sale which high street price but they are awful I had coveyancing assigned whom I sold to her once and went off sick for two months never had allocated one service so poor I wouldn’t recommend them for anybody they are the worse firm complete yesterday I didn’t yet receive my money they are awful you will end pay 800 pound better go for decent firm. If I buy any property again never ever gonna use them again

Absolutely terrible experience with this company. Their online portal is great and easy to use however the rest of the service was awful. There was a complete lack of communication from My home move to solicitors and estate agents, we ended up doing a large part of the leg work ourselves. Complete lack of communication with us. This issue created huge problems and nearly lost us our buyers as they were not updated that the move date had to be moved and they were only informed 2 days before hand. This is just one of the issue we saw. Would not recommend

New customer - will continue to update I just signed up with them, which was easy but I was told that I need to fill out a starter form, which I didn't receive. Subsequently I reached out the chap that was assigned to me, but no answer received, called switch line but couldn't get through either. Once you sign up you need to book a 20min call with your conveyancer, turns out there are no open slots for the next 2 weeks. I suspect this means nothing will be done for the next 2 weeks. When you call the office no one picks up and when you call the extension it goes straight to voicemail. The portal states Adam Chance is assigned to me. As requested I just emailed you. We had a rocky start but I can say it has slightly improved, I am now waiting for an update on my purchase. I have also been told that I have a new case manager called Chloe who would reach out to me but hasn't yet.

Absolutely terrible, my partner is selling her flat and this companying is the buyer solicitors. We are now 4 months into the process, neither party has a chain so this should have taken 6 weeks at most to complete. All questions have been answered and then two weeks later you get another random question not related to the last round of questions, then two weeks later another random one of question not related to the last one., just ask them all at once. My partner is on the verge of putting her flatback on the market because this company is making the process next to impossible to complete.

I used MHM eight years ago for my house purchase and they were fine. Seemed like good value for money. I recently used them for a sale and purchase and the quality had dropped dramatically. Terribly slow service. Almost impossible to get through on the phone, or to get any response by email. I had to nag every step of the way which is miserable on all sides although we didn't miss any deadlines. However, documents kept being missed and I feel sure other things slipped through the net. Next time (if I can bear a next time) I'll spend the extra and see if that helps.

PLEASE STAY AWAY !! I have an ongoing case with them. This has been so stressful as they have delayed the case by months by stating that they have not recieved any emails from seller sollicitor, when the emails have been very clearly sent to the correct email adress thrice. There have been excessive delays . I have tried to complaint as well but no help at all . I am spending sleepless nights. I wish I had seen other reviews before instructing them . My Case reference: 1105708.00001 UPDATE 18/02/2023 : Writing this while in AIRBNB (since last 3 weeks) , Myhomemove requested my deposit ,requested funds from lender, told me and all other parties involved completion date is 21st feb 2023 , on the day decided for exchange of contracts , they have raised 8 more inquiries (based on a regulation which was implemented since june 2022) just 2 working days before completion and told me completion maybe delayed. I have prepared for the move , ordered all furniture, I have no booking for AIRbnb after 21st feb 2023 . I have raised all of this to my conveyancer , with no help at all. I will suffer significant financial loss (cancelling non refundable furniture, homemovers). I dont know who to contact , I have been left helpless by this firm , This is the 3rd time they have told me we are ready for completion and then raised more inquiries. First incident was 6th dec 2022, then on 7th feb 2023 I was told we are ready to complete, again on 16th feb I was told we are ready to complete on 21st feb. I am in considerable stress , my family is stressed and in tears as we have no place to go after 21st feb 2023 (the date of completion) . I request MYHOMEMOVE team to look into this , escalate this and consider my circumstances also any poetential new clients STAY AWAY , PLEASE DONT BELEIVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS , I WISH I HADNT !!!
