    When I first contacted Darren 3 months ago, I had lost weight that I didn't need to lose, I was struggling to get around because of the lack of energy, and I had nutrient deficiencies, difficulty thinking, pain, loss of sleep and toilet problems. I had never been taught properly, or effectively, about what I needed to do to feed and care for my body effectively. Thankfully, Darren is very thorough at measuring and spotting deficiencies so that he can effectively correct them. Although I am only 5 appointments in (10 weeks), I have more energy, and my food intake is healthier and getting to a level that will sustain me properly - I would never have thought that I could see results so quickly because of the length of time that I have been struggling. Darren also teaches you to understand what food does, the quantities needed and when to use foods with different energy releases. He is also very perceptive in the way a person is reacting to things in their life, food, exercise and much more. I would also like to say that the additional Calls and videos that Darren makes helps to consolidate the information given during each face-to-face appointment. I still class myself as being at an early stage in the proceedings, but I have learned so much in such a short space of time.     When I first met Darren I was on a cross trainer at the gym . Darren introduced himself and explained that he could help me to lose weight and get healthier. When I looked around I initially thought he had chosen me because I was the biggest in the gym at that time. In my head I thought “ CHEEKY SOD”. Oh but I was wrong. I then attended some of his classes at the gym and my god did he push me. A few swear words and “THE SON OF SATAN” came out of my mouth a few times but I am glad he did. He pushed me to my limit but he also listened. He focuses on muscle building but he also focuses on cardio as well which I have noticed that my health as improved greatly as well as losing weight, and he also does a nutrition plan that is unique to you. Darren is easy going but professional at the same time and I can talk to Darren at ease. If I have any problems then Darren will listen. I have noticed a great improve in my fitness levels and feel a lot more healthier( no more feeling sluggish). I am glad that Darren came to speak to that first time and I highly recommend hence the 5 star rating.

    I decided that I wanted to lose some to be able to increase my fitness and spend time with my kids along with losing weight, I asked about and used the internet then made calls and decided that Darren would be the best to help my with my aims and ambitions. During our call Darren made me feel very comfortable and at ease making it better for our first session. At the first session Darren went into my objectives and we went into detail of my old back injury that was causing a lot of pain and discomfort. By the next session Darren had been researching my injury and created my first fitness plan which was to help relieve the pain in my back along with increasing my core strength, and start the reduction of my weight with a personal diet plan to assist with everything. Darren is very attentive and professional in what his teaches and his ability to listen, understand and empathetic ways of helping along with his regular contact both in lessons and regular check up calls are gratefully appreciated, especially the last one with all the latest Covid lockdowns that we have all had to go through. Darren has a very good knowledge of his profession and is very attentive to your training needs and recovery that may be needed from an injury, he also creates a diet and meal plan to assist you with improvements for weight loss, training and recovery. I used to be quite overweight to be honest, however after a few months of regular training with Darren and following the tailor made training plan created for me, I started to realise that I was not so short of breath and could exercise and plan games with my children more than I could before. Training was Darren is fun but serious, he help to build your trust in him very easily. Darren is very approachable and makes you feel at ease which makes it good to be both serious and fun in achieving your goals. With me working full time and being a single dad I tend to focus on everyone else than myself, but after forcing myself out initially I actually got into the swing of things and enjoyed training myself a great deal even managing to get my kids involved at times too. Loosing weight was a fantastic feeling at first as initially it was quite quick, however now I focus upon controlling it’s loss and keeping it reducing slowly as I know that I do not want it to return back to the levels it used to be. I would highly recommend Darren to everyone who may want to train, lose weight or even want to just improve their well being. Darren s work ethic, disire to help by listening, understanding your needs and empathetic teaching will help you achieve your goals. Darren works a lot on your individual program which will training, diet and recovery.

    Darren is well prepared on both the PT and the nutritionist side. He is able to explain the complicated functions of our body in simple words so that it will be easier to embrace the changes for a weight loss journey. The exercises during the gym session push you to get better and fight against the "I can't do it", Darren is great at proving your mind wrong, showing you that you can actually do it.
