  Me and my fiancée decided to create a bucket list and a couples boudoir photoshoot was one of those items. We found Michael by endless searching through the internet and loved the vibe we were getting from his couples shoot. After booking with Michael we were excited to have the shoot, booking was easy and communication was great and information we needed was provided (very helpful) On arrival we were greeted and made to feel welcome, D (make up artist) dealt with my fiancée and I chilled whilst sharing a bottle of bubbly. During the shoot Michael assisted with outfit choices and poses helping to achieve the photos we wanted, and then gave us a few minutes after each session to have a little fun and capture the raw emotions side of us. As a photographer myself I don’t like to be on the other side of the camera but Michael made us both feel at ease and had a good laugh in the process. We had booked the best package when we booked but after the shoot looking through the images we realised that there were going to be far more photos we wanted then originally thought so opted to purchase extras as they were that good! Michael sent us away with our images to choose at our leisure (boy was it hard) to choose. But we managed it in the end. Michael you were absolutely awesome and cannot wait to see the final images. We would both recommend Michael for a photo shoot and would advise any couples who want to capture that intimate raw side of their relationship to get booked ASAP. We will be booking again Thank you

  "My shoot was incredible, dee did my makeup in glamour style and several times i had to ask is that me, she's the first person whos ever done my foundation and made it flawless my entire makeup was stunning then michael made me laugh and put me so at ease during the shoot he made jokes and was constant compliments, he guided me through every pose and was so patient and made me feel beautiful, he made the entire shoot so exciting and fun he made me have so much confidence every pose was carefully chosen and the results were incredible i cant wait for my prints and i would for sure have another shoot its such a confidence boost and as a bigger girl ive never felt this free"

  Amazing experience! My hair and makeup was fantastic and stayed all day Michael the photographer made me feel comfortable immediately He helped with all the poses And after having a sneak peak at my photos, they look amazing! I cant wait to give them to my husband as a gift I would definitely recommend to every woman as a way to feel confident and sexy in herself

  My husband and I have been together 40 years this year, and to celebrate we wanted to do a couples photoshoot that could capture our love and commitment to each other. We chose My Beautiful Boudoir based on the beautiful photos on their website. We had an amazing experience; the anticipation before the day when choosing the outfits to take; the day itself; and the glamorous and sexy prints and images that help us remember this fabulous experience. Kristina and Michael created a very welcoming, fun and easy-going, yet respectful atmosphere. They provided professional advice for the makeover style, outfits to wear, sets and poses, whilst also taking our wishes into account. Although we had never done anything like this before, it felt totally natural and not awkward at all to be photographed in the (nearly) nude. The resulting photos show us and the spark between us in the best possible light. The hardest part was choosing which pictures to keep as there were so many beautiful images, but Michael guided us through that process as well. All in all, it was everything we had hoped for, and much more. We loved it so much, we went back for more!

  It only took me 15 years to built up my courage to do this! I wish I had done it earlier because the experience is truly unique, empowering and left me with a new appreciation for my 63 year old life-battle worn body! But the team at My Beautiful Boudoir made me feel comfortable and relaxed, from start to finish, and forget quickly all the barriers that existed in my head. The studio is conveniently located a short walk from Leicester station and easy to find. It is a beautiful open space with sections for different scenes, a changing room and toilet (no need for searching for one on the way! (Like at M&S). My make up was stunning and complete with false eyelashes made me look and feel like a film star – thank you Dee, you are so talented! Michael discussed with me what type of photos and style I wanted to achieve and helped me with the order of changes and talked me through the entire process. Getting me posing in various ways was fun and Michael knew how to make me feel relaxed but also pushed me a bit beyond my limits. He is very enthusiastic and professional, and clearly enjoys achieving the best results with fun and in a relaxed style. It never felt forced or too much, however I now have a new appreciation for model’s and photographer’s jobs! Michael can make anyone look and feel fantastic from behind the camera! I highly recommend him and My Beautiful Boudoir! I think anyone and particularly us older people should take this unique chance to see ourselves in a new and surprisingly beautiful way! And let’s face it we all get older and find it harder to like our bodies, but here is a unique opportunity to see and feel confident in our bodies with the help of this super team. The photos themselves were already at the raw stage stunning and Michael showed me some during the session which really was a boost! But we were so happy with the final retouched photos which were my gift to my husband for our wedding anniversary. We particularly liked the body art shots – absolutely amazing! They blew us away and never in my dreams would I have imagined that it could be me in those photos! So if anyone reads this and is still hesitant – don’t wait, do it now, you won’t regret it but benefit from it in so many ways!

  Shameful, inflexible customer service and booking processes. Do not expect reasonable or sympathetic treatment once you have made your booking. I was due to attend a photoshoot the day after storm Eunice, when there remained a yellow weather warning in place. A woman had been killed in North London (where I live) due to the storm the day before my booking. Accordingly I made the decision not to travel to Leicester. The management refused to refund me. I was met with the response “our terms and conditions do not allow refunds.” The sensible and reasonable thing to do in these circumstances would be to exercise discretion and offer a refund. It is completely within their power to do this. It is extraordinary just how unhelpful and borderline immoral the management have been. In summary, avoid booking with My Beautiful Boudoir at all costs. A very unpleasant experience.
