Highly recommend. Yukari is a very talented and passionate teacher and practitioner who looks to customise her approach to each person in front of her. One of my children quite likes to be pushed towards grades and thrives on it, another hates the pressure and just wants to enjoy learning and playing. Yukari accommodates both needs and always stays child-centric. Yukari is also keen for music to be shared and experienced together. She regularly oragnises informal concerts which are a wonderful way to connect with like-minded musicians, share progress, and continue to get comfortable with performing in public. Our experiences with Yukari have been nothing but positive and I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone considering taking up or enhancing their musical and performing capabilities.

Yukari is very professional but also a very amiable friendly person which helps to enjoy the lessons more. If anyone is looking to learn piano, I would definitely recommend Yukari . I returned to piano playing as an adult and have studied with Yukari for many years. Her standard of teaching is very high. She has the ability to teach all standards of students, from young beginners to diploma level students, for all purposes and many styles of music. The teaching is delivered on two grand pianos, for pupil and teacher. There is an option, if you wish to take it, of performing your work at regular pupils' concerts. Online lessons are available - these were very successful during lockdown. Everything is delivered with Yukari's combination of enthusiasm, knowledge and creativity. Whatever your musical requirements, I thoroughly recommend Yukari as a teacher.
