We've been going to Musical Bumps for 1.5 years now, so we have moved up from the toddler (1yr+) class to the pre-school (2yrs+) class. All of the classes we have attended have been very popular and my daughter is always excited to go. Helen is really friendly and welcoming. She's brilliant with the kids and learns their names so quickly - I don't know how she does it! The classes are very well organised with a familiar beginning and end structure, but the main body of the class changes each week, using different songs, musical instruments and puppets. Wherever possible, Helen will match or adapt the songs to a suitable theme, be it Halloween, Christmas, Mother's Day, Pancake Day, the Queen's Jubilee, etc, and encourages (but doesn't demand) fancy dress to make it more fun for the little ones. Helen really knows her craft; she was kind enough to let take my parents-in-law take my daughter to class one week, and Grandma, who was a former primary head teacher and Ofsted inspector, was extremely impressed with the quality of the class, and hasn't stopped singing Helen's praises! We have also really enjoyed attending several of the extra holiday classes that Helen curates. Each one is well-themed and we love the chance to be creative by, for example, painting egg cups for Easter. Being one of the first classes we attended after the Covid lockdowns, this class has been a lifeline for me personally when I was suffering from post-natal depression as a new stay-at-home Mum. I was a little overwhelmed at first, with so many songs to learn and new faces, but everyone is so lovely. I'm so glad we found this class and will be really sad when we have to say goodbye. Thank you so much, Helen. I whole-heartedly recommend this class to other parents.

I took my 5/6 month son to these classes and he loved them. Helen is wonderful with the babies and there is an easy to follow structure to each class so us mums can join in. But every class involves different songs, sensory toys and chat. Great class, recommend!

Musical bumps day is our favourite day of the week! The class is so lovely and Helen is very welcoming. Nearby playground and coffee shops are an added bonus for afterwards too!

I have been bringing my 4 year old grandaughter here now for almost a year. She took a lot of settling in, anything new sets her back about 6 months, but slowly and with infinite patience Helen has got her joining in and smiling. She loves the musical instruments and other kit that Helen employs to teach the children so many skills. The classes have done so much to help her confidence and sense of joining in.
