The man behind the counter was unbelievably rude, a bully and ultimately, pathetically spineless. He snapped aggressively at a five year old girl (she was doing nothing wrong, simply waiting near the counter to pay for some records she'd chosen, and was apparently in his way as he kicked a box of records across the floor). When I calmly asked him what the problem was he lost his nerve, wouldn't admit that he'd done anything and scuttled away. Not wanting to make a scene in front of, or disappoint said child, we paid for the records and left. However, this shop won't get any more business from me. I will pop back in for a word though.

Great record shop with lots of different choices and a bargain basement where you can find many hidden gems. Not very easy for a short person to browse through their collection since its harder to reach to items stored further back in the trays, but overall decently priced and the playback quality is fair (as expected for secondhand records). After lots of digging I managed to find my favourite song in their bargain basement, highly recommend this place if you are on a budget!

Music & Video Exchange, both shops, are probably THE places to go if you’re looking for cassette tapes. This shop has a 50p section, as well as some nice classics in the basment, moderately priced. Don’t miss out on it!
