My horse unfortunately went extremely lame a week before the Munstead unaffiliated horse trials, so I made contact straight away through Horse Events to say I won’t be able to compete and please can I have a refund (£91). I was told by the organiser (Rebecca) no because they were very short of entries as it was. I understand that it is expensive to run events so I asked if I could have credit because they do have future 2023 competitions ( showing show, combined training and hunter trials). They still said no, which is just dreadful. I think this is why they are struggling for entries because other venues are A LOT more accommodating. I won’t enter another competition at Munstead.
