I should have discovered this place a long time ago. The vibe is wonderful and both the indoor and outdoors areas are great. Food is great, though through busy evenings it can take a while to arrive. Nevertheless, the schnitzel and classic Bavarian menus are excellent to transport you to Germany for a few hours. The music and the themed-dressed staff contribute as well to the real Oktoberfest feeling going around. Couldn’t recommend this enough, especially for larger groups!

The food is bad, not being mean about it or anything, it is just not good at all. Went out with a friend, spend nearly £100 on combination of staters and mains, and nothing was edible. We came back home and ordered KFC.

The beer garden pub is situated and is part of the Munich Cricket Club. Perfect meeting place with German -and generic- beers, snacks, sausage courses, and other meat based dishes. A small choice of vegetarian food is also available.

We visited Munich Cricket Club, a German restaurant in Canary Wharf. The restaurant has set up its interior to have the feel of a beer hall with sharing benches and high ceilings. The food was excellent and the portion sizes are massive and so the food is real value for money. The MCC beer board was also quite interesting with a nice assortment of draught beers. Overall, the Munich Cricket Club is a great option if you would like to sample some authentic German food at very reasonable prices
