I love receiving Victoria’s boxes each month. From the beautiful simple but elegant packaging to the thoughtful curation of interesting winemakers with a different theme each month, they are always a delight. I love the accompanying notes and recipes on the website and also that there is a free virtual tasting each month where we get to meet one of the winemakers and drink their wine whilst hearing about how it’s been made. Such a unique wine box which is always so well thought out. Victoria herself is so knowledgeable and approachable, making wine buffs and novices feel completely at home and looked after. Treat yourself and sign up to a subscription box or even better, get Victoria to wow you with an in-person tasting where she matches wines with charcuterie and other nibbles which complement the wine magnificently.

"Having found the Mummy Wine Club via The Chiswick Book Festival in September 2020, I was drawn into the virtual wine tasting events by Victoria's brilliant idea of marking Hemingway's book with the wines he drank in France with his famous friends. The wines we tasted in September were matched with Hemingway's experience of the wines he drank, which made for an interesting twist on the evening, the event being woven into the Chiswick Book Festival. The monthly wine tastings have continued along these lines, with an unusual and sophisticated theme being introduced by Victoria every month, such as a lovely mixture of English wines in January, wines of the Southern Hemisphere in late 2020 & ancient wines in autumn 2020. So not only are members of the wine club introduced to new parts of the world to be explored on their wine journeys, but the ability to talk to wine experts over Zoom. I found these virtual wines events to be a most enjoyable and educational way of tasting wines throughout the world, at a time when it is not possible to visit the vineyards in person and has been a great way to learn about different cultures and history and a real breath of fresh air in these difficult times".
