I don’t usually leave reviews but my recent experience with Mulgari was so overwhelmingly positive that I think it deserves some feedback. I have 2012 Mini Cooper S convertible. Only used for short local trips when the sun is out. As stock it was never slow but I always felt it could be so much more. I researched YouTube and the web and created a short list of mods that I was interested in. I was torn between selling it and buying a JCW or modifying mine. I contacted Darren who responded with his suggestions which actually were less expensive than my shortlist. We talked on the phone and then I booked my car in. We (royal we) reinstated the bonnet scoop air intake, upgraded the plugs, added a better intercooler and forge resonator delete pipe, stage 2 map and exhaust resonator delete. I could not be happier, the car is utterly transformed. It is hilarious, whilst at the same time it is measured and in no way ASBO or obnoxious. The remap is very linear, it doesn’t just give a great dollop of torque and boost, it is very progressive and encourages you to keep going towards the red line. The sound is well judged, lots of intake noise and a few more crackles from the exhaust, but not silly. The work was done on time and on budget with expert advice for free. I will definitely be back. Next is suspension and brakes. Can’t recommend enough, if you are thinking about it, stop. Just do it, you will not be disappointed. Services: Wheel alignment, Auto engine tuning

Mulgari have transformed my John Cooper Works Clubman from a good car into the car it should always have been. Over three years, they have thoughtfully upgraded its power, handling and cosmetics, and come up with economic suggestions on what's next ... often finding solutions that were much cheaper than my original thoughts. For example, I thought I needed coil-overs. I didn't! Mulgari offered superior handling, with their own mods at a much cheaper price. The crowning glory is the increase in power, smooth delivery and sheer excitement of the engine remap, which was completed to meet my own specific needs rather than a simple 'out of the box' solution. No matter what car I get in the future, Mulgari will look after it. On meeting Darren over a year ago after purchasing one of Mulgari’s legendary ICON02 Minis, he carried out some revised upgrades to the car which enhanced it even further, his knowledge and skill for all he does is something else, it’s a breath of fresh air to talk, ask questions and get in depth answers, you know exactly what he is doing. He has recently just fitted a carbon body kit to my BMW M2 …. Excellent work by Darren sorted out a revised map for my car, as the one previously applied was full of holes and spikes. Car is now in a different league to before!
