I have placed many orders with Mulberry Bush this year. They have a brilliant range of toys and I have had no issues with delivery and only one item of many arrived not in perfect condition. The reason for only giving two stars in this review is that I was surprised by the response when I contacted the customer service number to request a replacement for a children's guitar which had arrived with one of it's strings not attached properly. After sending photos to an email address as requested, I received a couple of replies that the string just required reattaching and tightening. I am confident that for a guitarist this would be no problem, but I am not, there were no instructions included, and as the guitar is advertised for three year olds I expected it to arrive ready to play. Despite the string being weakened I have managed to reattach it to be able to gift it at Christmas but I am not confident that it is a secure enough fix to last very long and I remain disappointed at the level of customer service given. Particular considering that the item is sold at a slightly lower price on Amazon but I had wanted to support smaller companies.

We have ordered twice from Mulberry toys the first time lwhen we ordered the wooden farm set and this year when we ordered the fuzzy felt set. The farm set was impressive, 100% perfect and gave us a first class impression of Mulberry Toys. Now come to the fuzzy felt and that is another story.I recall buying one for my daughter when she was a child and imagined this product would be the same. How more disappointed could you be.?? When we opened it there were numerous sheets of felt containing the items that all had to be very carefully pressed out from the sheet as they are all so flimsy, easy to rip and easy to lose they are so small. My granddaughter after 30 mins lost interest and walked away. The product is not the quality it should be and certainly detracts from the Mulberry image that we had. Now why do they not source a better quality product? One with bigger firmer and thicker animals etc that don't have to be pressed from the sheets (we still have not finished doing that). I certainly would not mind paying more money for something like that. Mulberry please look into providing a better quality product as we are very dissatisfied.

I am very disappointed to see in your catalogue that you are using boys and girls to advertise your toys in a stereotypical style. For example, boys with models of wooden trains, power toys, construction toys etc and girls with models of kitchens, classrooms, cots and dolls. I wouldn't buy from you for this reason alone.
