At Muffin Pug Rescue, our adoption process begins with an application that can be found on our website. We understand that sometimes things don't work out as planned, and we do accept returns of adopted pets. However, we ask that you please contact us as soon as possible so that we can work with you to resolve any issues and provide support. We have adopted a pug and 2 cats (rag dolls) via muffinpug. Our pug, Beatrice, came from Bosnia to us 2 years ago and is turning 10 next month. We also have 1 other rescue pug and have just had a baby and our household is so full of love with everyone snuggling together and getting along. We have helped transport rescues and help whenever we can. We also know help is only ever a facebook post/ message away if we need it. When you adopt from Muffinpug you become a part of a network and there are so many events and get togethers for the rescues to keep in contact. The rescues are of the primary concern for those that run the charity. They are accommodating but very busy. They try their best to find a match for anyone willing to give a rescue a good home (ie no criteria such as needing a garden etc like other rescues) but they are very wary of people that they feel are not serious about the rescues and I think this can result in people becoming upset. This should not take away from the great work this charity does. We will always adopt via muffinpug.

If you are looking to adopt or foster a Pug then look no further than MuffinPug Rescue. Hugely experienced with this breed of dog and with a network of knowledgeable volunteers and its own social media information groups, help and advice for your rescue Pug is always to hand. They are genuinely interested in the lifelong welfare of each and every rescued dog and encourage adopters to share their adopted Pugs adventures and experiences in their new homes. The adoption process is straightforward throughout and you will receive your certificate of adoption/contract on it's completion. We have 5 Pugs, 2 of which are MuffinPug Rescues, the first one we adopted 5 years ago and the second has been with us almost 2 years now. She was rescued with several other Pugs from a Bosnian puppy mill after being bred back to back until she was in such a state the breeder was going to have her PTS along with the others. Fortunately MuffinPug heard of their plight and brought them back to the UK. Thanks to MuffinPug Rescue she is here with us living her best life. A fabulous charity, I recommend them to the world.

In June 21 we adopted a little pug from Muffin Pug who they had rescued from China, she was matched by Muffin Pug to our family and lifestyle - brilliant match and she loves her new doggie brother and sister. Muffin Pug where on hand with any questions we had. In February this year we fostered a little pug through Muffin Pug - they where on hand to help 24/7. She settled in so well that we applied to adopt her soon after she arrived. If you are looking to foster or adopt Muffin Pug provide tons of support, are friendly and very knowledgeable.
