This was a lovely place to stop for coffee and vegan cake! Relaxed atmosphere. Also great to see that the cafe operates as a charity. Will definitely return if I'm in the area again. Ethical food in an ethical environment.

I go to Mudlarks regularly and the food is universally excellent. It is healthy vegetarian/vegan with many gluten free offerings as well. Prices are reasonable. The staff are attentive and the place is welcoming to all. The cakes are also excellent and my favourite is the Bakewell muffin. Keep up the great work.

Heaven is a Cupcake
This is quickly becoming my favourite cafe in Hertford. The food is really fresh and delicious. And as a cake maker myself I can definitely recommend their cakes. The banana sticky toffee cake was amazing. I also really love their ethos and the staff were lovely.

Nice cafe located in the centre of Hertford. This cafe is vegetarian and vegan, but don't let it stop you from popping in if you are not. A good selection of food and drink is available. A fair bit of seating, but it can be busy. As this is not part of a chain, it is good to support a local venture.
