The staff are really friendly and good atmosphere to work in. You can see the team work and determination on the shop floor and the office. The management are really helpful, and willing to take people through further learning and development. The in house apprenticeship school at MTL and the level of service towards the apprenticeships is good, plus the company is also their own training provider for their apprenticeships.

I recently joined MTL advanced as a Design Engineer. I found MTL advanced to be a great place to work. They offer a lot of support and Training helping the staff reach their full potential. The company is willing to invest in people who want to progress in their career and have helped kick star many young people's career through their brilliant apprenticeship program. I was initially approached by the internal recruitment officer at MTL Advanced, she spoke to me on the phone about my previous experience and whether this role at MTL Advanced would be suitable for me. The job specification seemed very appealing to me so I responded expressing my interest to pursue this opportunity. I was then invited down to MTL advanced for a interview. Interview process was very straightforward and felt more like agenuine conversation. Upon starting my role at MTL, I was given a great introduction to the entire team. As part of the induction process, I was able to spend time with each department of the company, in order to receive a good understanding of each department's day to day roles within the business. I was also given the opportunity to spend some time on the shopfloor, allowing me to gain some hands on experience as well as, gain a deeper understanding of the manufacturing process and various techniques used on the shop floor. I have really enjoyed my time at MTL, I am surrounded by a great team who are willing to help and support me in any way possible. Jofin Babu
