My first appointment with Dr Pollard was very good however I have had a bad experience with his secretary. There lines are always busy and they seldom call back. Its also challenging to get an email answer from them. I did my MRI and Spire Healthcare Dunedin and my follow-up consultation with Dr Pollard was at Circle Reading. During the follow up consultation I was just being read out my MRI report. I was hoping that he would discuss and explain me my MRI images, however his secretary did not request it from Spire. I asked Dr Pollard if he could show me my MRI images, however he did not find them on his computer and said that they usually only receive a report from the radiologist. I asked his secretary and she said that I have to request it from Spire and they will provide those to me on a CD. This felt weird to me so I called Spire and they said that the secretary need to request it via IP and then they can transfer it electronically. So this should have been done by the secretary before my appointment. I did not benefit much from my follow-up consultation and disappointed with it. Basically paid for nothing. Another issue: His profile description on Spire Dunedin says 'Knee ligament surgery' and he told me he doesn't do it. I just wonder why his secretary even gave me an appointment, since I already told that my issue is related to ligament.
