10 months ago, Mr Sharma operated on my wrist to remove a ganglion cyst which had been very uncomfortable and painful at times, as well as restricting lots of my wrist movement. I can’t thank Mr Sharma enough; from first meeting him he listened to me and my concerns and explained what my options were. I decided to proceed with having the cyst surgically removed. Mr Sharma explained the process clearly to me and told me what to expect following the operation. The operation day itself went with ease - all the staff were lovely and Mr Sharma was fantastic. My wrist has healed up nicely (both the scar and the wrist itself) and I was back to full movement within a few months (having not had full movement for almost 2 years due to the cyst!). I cannot recommend Mr Sharma enough and I am so thankful to him for helping me - it’s so nice to be able to get back to cycling and rowing after having discomfort in my wrist for so long.

I was referred to Mr Sharma for carpal tunnel triggered by pregnancy. I was in a lot of pain and with a newborn my life was very hard. Mr Sharma was incredible in providing various options to manage the situation in the immediate and a longer term plan for resolving the issue. Over the last 9 months I am pleased to say that the problem has been solved (hopefully forever). I cannot praise enough Mt Sharma for his care, dedication to solve the problem and the follow ups to ensure all was going well. I would also like to recognise the care of the personnel at the hospital and his secretary who has been incredibly supportive and helping fitting me in a very tight schedule. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Sharma and the Parkside team.

Mr Sharma was a very good consultant who always explained the situation with my injury well and was happy to go through all options for rehabilitation and what any pros and cons for each option were. He was very caring and comfortable to be around and I was confident while under his care that my injury would progress well, which it did.

Mr Ritesh Sharma treated my 14 year old daughter for a ganglion on her wrist. She was in significant discomfort and in our initial consultation he explained her options. Surgical removal was our outcome and Mr Sharma recommended a scan prior to surgery and when results were in he explained the procedure what the aftercare would involve etc. A date was planned for surgery but my daughters ganglion became very sore and she was sent home from school Mr Sharma was very easily contacted through his secretary Rachel who is very professional, kind and caring. My daughters surgery was moved forward and the procedure went very well. Mr Sharma visited My daughter after surgery and kept in contact during her recovery and she is now signed off! The care and treatment my daughter received was first class and I would recommend Mr Sharma highly. Thank you for taking such good care of my daughter. Warm wishes J Murphy

I only have praise for MrSharma. He made what was potentially a stressful experience into, believe it or not, an enjoyable one! He talked me through all the options and explained everything to me at every stage. When I was admitted as a day patient for surgery on my hand, he checked on me before the procedure, talked me through it as he carried it out, and checked on me again afterwards. He and the team at Parkside were excellent.

I had been referred to park side hospital, under the care of mr Ritesh Sharma, who is a totally fantastic surgeon, Mr Sharma and his team, including all the nurses, and operating staff , were so professional and caring, every step of the way, talking me through the procedure, I don’t think I could have had a better experience, and everyone was so polite to each other, it was very refreshing to witness such politeness amongst staff, I would have no doubts in my mind to be seen by them again, if I could give 10 stars I would, My surgery went well and have not had any pain since 10/10
