Me and my partner visited here is part of our ultimate ramen tour in Bristol. We ordered calamari, Tokyo summer ramen, Korean fried chicken ramen. The waiting time for food is definitely on the longer side, but as we came at the peak hour and didn't book the table, it is understandable for us. The space is well-decorated and cozy. So here are some thoughts on what we ordered, which is purely subjective and might be bias, just a heads up. Deep fried calamari~ Didn't test that much of marinaded flavour but salty, test nice with mayo. For some reason the coating of calamari comes off, which is a bit disappointed. Tokyo summer ramen~ As the name of the restaurant revealed, the noodle itself is definitely spot on, nice a fresh; chashu is nice and seared; not the biggest fan of broth though. Just don't feel particular balance as whole bowl. Korean fried chicken ramen~ Decent noodle, broth is better than Tokyo summer ramen, Korean fried chicken is tasty, but the Gochujang (Korean Hot Pepper Paste) seems a bit extra. Overall, there's no doubt that noodle is the leading role; but will be much nicer if the rest keep up.

The ramen is delicious but the portion was surprisingly small and its very expensive! If the bowl had been priced even a couple of pounds less I would definitely come back, but otherwise its not affordable - for me anyway! We all had the Korean fried chicken but my friend who had the vegan option (asked for an egg as she's veggie) said hers was actually quite flavourless and bland with no spice at all!

Definitely the best ramen in town, no exception. Noodles are done correctly, and the broth is superb. Food is 5 star. Only suggestion is to have a more open/spacious restaurant setting, as I didn’t find the seating that comfortable, but this is a sacrifice worth paying for the food!

Probably the best ramen I’ve had in Bristol. Great broth. Only downside was that the portions were a little smaller that you’d expect for the price and the staff are still clearly getting used to how it all works - though one of those problems will surely sort itself out. Would go again.
