Very disappointed with my treatment with Mr Ware. An arthroscopy to repair a torn lateral meniscus turned into the removal of the meniscus during surgery. Nine months later I am still struggling to walk comfortably, let alone resume any activity, and the knee remains very swollen and unstable despite physio. All Mr Ware's expectations on recovery time and knee function post-surgery have proved hugely wrong. Consultations were all very short (max 10 minutes, despite paying privately), and when I reached out for help he shockingly had his (non-medical) secretary call me to discuss my problems. For reference I am a healthy 48 year old, with the MRI prior to surgery showing articular cartilage in good condition. I regret ever seeing Mr Ware in the first place - he has made my knee much worse and seems to have no interest in whether outcomes are good or bad. Gave strong impression of being more interested in his business than his patients and his lack of interest in following up with patients no doubt gives him a false impression of how successful his surgery has been. Avoid if you have a choice.
