    I’m not really sure where to begin with how wonderful Mr Marando and his team are and what an honour and privilege it’s been to be looked after by them. I booked an appointment and upon meeting him, he exceeded all my expectations. Mr Marando has a really calming aura, his manners are impeccable and he was extremely knowledgeable and intelligent. It’s evident that he’s dedicated his life to ensuring he is an expert in his field. Chantelle, Kylie, and Ilias at the Star Clinic were all absolutely wonderful throughout and always made me feel I was welcome to contact them anytime. They are such a great team. I dealt with Ilias predominately and he was really superb. He was always so positive, professional, helpful, polite, friendly, genuine, and warm. He was such a pleasure to speak to and his positivity always left me with a smile on my face. He is a real credit to the clinic. Mr Marando’s team really are first class. Mr Marando has been absolutely exceptional throughout (before, during and after surgery). I knew that I was in the very best of hands with him, and he is an incredibly gentle and respectful surgeon. He genuinely takes care of you and wants the best outcome for each patient. My recovery has been amazing. Of course a week on, I’m still resting and taking things easy, but I’m doing so well – much better than I’ve ever done after surgery (I’ve not even needed pain relief!), and I believe that’s down to Mr Marando’s meticulous care and skill. Every person I have spoken to speaks so highly of him, from his past patients to medical staff who’ve worked with him. And deservedly so. There are surgeons, great surgeons, incredible surgeons… and then there is Mr Marando. My husband and I both think Mr Marando is an absolutely incredible, both as a surgeon and for the person he is. His attention to detail, knowledge and skills are phenomenal and he is exceptionally humble, kind and a real ‘gentle’ man. He really takes care of his patients and wants the best for each one of them. You start your journey as his patient, but you leave it feeling like you are a friend. He’s more than a surgeon, he’s an amazing person and I trust and respect him immensely. I felt in such safe hands at all times and his bedside manner is first class. My surgery was at Wilmslow Hospital, where I received superb care too. A week on from surgery, to say he’s changed my life would be an understatement. Not just physically, but psychologically. I feel like my future is bright (it hadn’t felt like that for many years), and all I’ve felt since my surgery is overwhelming peace, gratitude, and happiness on a level that no words are able to convey.     Mr Marando was recommended to me by my aesthetics Doctor who assured me he was ‘the best’ and he was not wrong. Having first met in these strange times via a FaceTime consultation, I instantly felt a connection that put me completely at ease. Explaining everything in great detail, honest and understandable with the highest level of professionalism, whilst being sincere and caring he made me feel this was the most important consultation of his day. I looked forward to meeting Mr Marando at my face to face consultation and was not disappointed. I was met beautifully by Martina at the Star Clinic in Manchester, Mr Marando’s lovely assistant. My consultation which followed confirmed this was the surgeon I could trust with my life. Surgery was carried out at the Wilmslow hospital with an overnight stay. The staff and his medical team all of which had the upmost respect and admiration for Mr Marando, were outstanding from pre op to discharge. I had a lower face lift along with upper and lower Blepharoplasty. Mr Marando’s expertise, attention to detail and outstanding skill means the clock has been turned back for me. Two weeks in and despite a little swelling, bruising and tightness I can see the amazing result of a top class plastic surgeon’s work. Thank you. You most definitely are they best’
