I first met Dr Ali on the 26th April 2023, when I was at my lowest point and I was planning to have a gastric band but he explained all the different procedures (he explained the pros and cons) and at the end, I decided to choose what was best for me (Gastric Sleeve). He considered my health issues, physical & mental state as well as my eating habits. My surgery date was on the 13th May. The surgery was amazing, it was so successful. I had no pain at all. Everything went smooth, it was like I never even had surgery. There were no issues. The care recieved from The London Clinic was phenomenal. Dr Ali and his team are amazing, they care for their patients. I can’t thank them enough. I got my life back thanks to them. I have so much energy, I can see the weight dropping off, I’m way more active. I will definitely recommend Dr Ali Alhamdani and The London Clinic Team. Thank you for giving me my life back!

I cannot recommend Mr Alhamdani enough to anyone considering this procedure. He went out his way to make sure I had all the needed information and from the first consultation I could tell he wanted to help me and gave me the steps to follow so I was ready for the operation and not stopping their he called before the operation to check on my welfare and after the operation he also reached out to my family to update them and when I was back home he again called to check up I was doing well. Again with hints and suggestions on how this will help change my life going forward. I am glad to have chosen Mr Alhamdani as I feel he exceeded my high expectations and I have not stopped singing his praises since I have returned home. An Amazing thoughtful caring man.

Faultless. It is very hard making the decision to have this surgery but when you do make the decision, make sure you read reviews and research. I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Alhamdani the experience has been excellent! Firstly, he is a lovely man! He is kind, caring and non judgmental - so important for anyone who is thinking about undertaking this surgery. When you choose Mr. Alhamdani you are choosing one of the best bariatric surgeons in the UK, you're also choosing an excellent team who works with him and for anyone undertaking this treatment I would recommend him 100%. Here is my story. My first consultation with Mr. Alhamdani was by Zoom. He took time to really understand my issues before agreeing to operate on me. He lay down the pre-surgery-work very clearly along with the complications which could happen if I didn't do the pre-work correctly. Mr. Alhamdani has a fantastic team around him to support in the process. His secretary Nadia is lovely and the team of dieticians and Psychologists are superb. Two weeks before surgery I needed to start the Liver Shrinking Diet, which is essential for the delivery of a safe operation. There are a few options for this diet so I followed a 2-week milkshake diet (I have done Lighter life before - got much thinner but the weight went right back on when I started to eat - so knew I would be able to stick to it for 2 weeks). Of all the shakes available on the list I preferred the Tesco Slim Shakes as they weren't as sweet as some of the others. I had my operation at the London Clinic, 20 and 22 Devonshire Place, London and the whole experience was amazing. The hospital and staff were great, they were attentive and really couldn't do enough to help you. Special mention to a wonderfully nice nurse called Jo. Mr. Alhamdani came into my room before surgery and congratulated me on losing 22lbs before my surgery which boosted me a little. I was second on the list for the day so I was able to hang out in my room until it was time. The London Clinic is very nice and comfortable so I was happy to do that. I was taken down to theatre and I met Mr. Alhamdani outside of the anesthetic room and he was very reassuring and said he would see me in there. Of course, I don't remember seeing him in there because within a few minutes I was asleep. A shout out too to Mr. Alhamdani's anesthetic team, such nice people. Before I knew it, I was back up on the ward and Mr. Alhamdani was back up to see me. He reminded me of the importance of walking 90 minutes a day - not all at one but in stages. I was cared for through the night by the hospital night staff and was up doing corridor walks when I could. The next morning Mr. Alhamdani came to see me again, discussed the surgery in that there were no complications and also told me the bits and bobs I would have to do after surgery, and I was then discharged. I was also told he would write me a letter so I didn't have to remember all the bits which I'm grateful for. So attentive Mr. Alhamdani is, he called me the day after to check up and to make sure my recovery was going well, which it is. The letter he promised was already in my email account. I am grateful I did research before hand and I'm grateful to Mr. Alhamdani for taking me on as a patient.

Fantastic care from Dr. Alhamdani from start to finish. Such a kind and friendly surgeon, made me feel at ease from the off. First meeting via zoom was great and I knew I had made the right choice in terms of surgeon, his staff are really supportive and lovely too, taking time to chat through any worries and being available at any time. Was so worried and nervous but this whole process has shown me there was absolutely no need, if you have the right people!

A true gentleman that genuinely cares for his patients. He took the time to carefully explain all bariatric surgery options, answer all my concerns and questions. I had consultations with 3 different surgeons and he was the only one that made me feel safe, going into detailed questioning of my mental and physical health to ensure I was in a sound place and well informed to be able to make my decision. He is both humble and genuine and his aftercare is outstanding , coming back to my text messages very quickly and mostly with a phone call! And also calling regularly to check in.
