    It's a great hotel in a good location, just a few minutes walk from the city centre (shambles end). There is no on-site parking but the closest multistorey is just round the corner (Q-Park Shambles) - You pre-book online using their discount code to save 20%. The hotel itself is very lively, so if your looking for a really chilled stay, probs not for you! We stayed last night and they had a pub quiz on, loud music etc.. was good fun! You get a little welcome drink upon check in. Rooms are a good size, comfy bed, pillows were a bit too soft for me but that's just cos I'm used to sleeping with a slab pillow 😂!

    As a single traveler, this hotel was perfect for a couple nights in York. The rooms were compact, but everything inside was comfortable and new. The location is convenient, within walking distance of the city center. There's a bus station very close to the hotel as well. I found the breakfast quite good with plenty of options. I would absolutely stay here again.

    Rooms: Room is very comfortable. A few niggles. Not enough storage, we stayed for 3 nights. You have to keep moving bin as only one so moving it from tea station to bathroom. Bathroom door very squeaky. I Walkability: Easy walk into the centre.
