Nothing but positive things to say! I started with Ruth in my second trimester. Each appointment she checks in and asks for the latest areas that need attention. Ruth’s level of knowledge and expertise is amazing and whether it be muscle manipulation on my hips, or lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling on my feet she knows exactly what needs to be done. She will also recommend simple exercises to continue with in between appointments. Could not recommend more highly for anybody experiencing any common pregnancy related ailments.

Had a fanntasic experience at Movement Matters. I had spent a long time trying to find the right type of treatment for my neck and back pain but had been unsuccessful. After just one appointment with Ruth at MM, I knew remedial massage was finally something that could work for me. Unfortunately, due to living too far out of the area I could not commit to long term treatment at Movement Matters, but Ruth still took the time to help signpost me to find similar treatment closer to home. I think this speaks volumes of her passion and commitment to helping people recover and make progress. I would highly recommended Movement Matters, especially if you are unsure of what type of treatment you need.

Ruth is such a knowledgeable and downright lovely lady who really makes such an effort to help with all my aches and pains. I have noticed a considerable difference in a very positive way when consistently visiting. The added bonus of hour and a half treatment times is a real game changer I think.

Firstly, I can't recommend Ruth enough! Ruth has really helped me with my shoulder, neck and back pain, with my tension headaches and with stiffness in my jaw. I first saw her when I had a frozen shoulder and she was able to help relieve this in just one session. I haven't been seeing Ruth for very long, but already she has helped me to understand my body more and how my issues are connected. She is very knowledgeable and makes me feel that I'm in a safe pair of hands. She makes me feel very comfortable and relaxed in our sessions. She's both friendly and professional. She has been very flexible, she has never made me feel any pressure to book anything, and she has been really supportive with advice and following up to check how I'm feeling after a session. In summary, Ruth really knows what she's doing and you can tell that she really cares about her clients. I wholeheartedly recommend her! I have already recommended her to my Mum and to several close friends.

Massage with Ruth is truly healing physicality and emotionally. I feel uplifted afterwards and the massage is also helping heal a knee injury that I have.

Ruth is easily the best massage therapist I’ve ever received treatments from. Having trained martial arts and competed in various combat sports at a high level for the past two decades my body has been in some serious states resulting in me seeing many therapists during this time. Ruth is professional, caring & easy to talk to. She is able to decipher what is going on in my body by watching me perform guided movements and usually knows exactly where the issue lies before I even realise myself. Ruth knows exactly how much pressure is needed during the massage which has often been a problem with other therapists I have seen. She always asked if I am comfortable and the answer is always yes. In my opinion there is nothing worse than a massage being either too light or too hard. Just call me Goldilocks :) I have often seen Ruth about injuries that have kept me off the mat and she has rectified things for me quickly, getting me back training again and moving pain free. She also offers further exercises to do at home to help fix any imbalances which have been causing the initial problem, preventing the same thing from reoccurring. I cannot recommend Ruth at movement matters massage enough! 10/10

I came from another massage therapist who had helped me enormously with managing pain due to chronic illness and so I was nervous about seeing someone else. I needn't have worried as Ruth is amazing. So friendly, putting me at ease and she is an excellent massage therapist. Ruth goes out of her way to understand your issues, trying different options. I particularly like the active massage approach which my body responds so much better to.

Ruth is amazing - her treatments are so much more than massage. She works with you to find out how you body responds to different techniques and adapts treatments to that. Her experience and knowledge is incredible and means I always leave feeling refreshed and renewed with more movement and flexibility. I would 100 % recommend her.

Love going to Ruth. I had a jujitsu injury which she made feel loads better after the first session and I haven't stopped going since - about a year ago now. It's a really nice, relaxing experience

Ruth is lovely and good at her job. She's obviously has a great knowledge base but on top of that it's almost like she has an intuitive understanding of your problem. I’ve referred family and friends to her and they've all had good experiences. The therapy room is clean, warm and it has parking too. Get it booked.
