Another fantastic stay at Mousley House Farm campsite in Shrewley, Warwickshire. The breakfast baps served from the quirky horse box bar with a covered seating area was a great new addition on top of the usual pizza being served on Friday and Saturday yet leaving the quietness of the campsite unspoilt. Keep up the good work and thank you to the campsite management couple for making us feel so welcome.

I stayed here with my girlfriend and 4 kids over the Easter weekend. On arrival Neil and Karen were very friendly and spent time talking us through the 'need to knows' about the site and giving us some helpful advice on local food establishments. After a short chat Neil escorted us to our pitch. It was our first time putting up the awning, Neil must have noticed we were having some difficulty. He brought Karen down to assist us. It's obvious they are seasoned caravan'ers and it was no effort for them, the awning was up super quick! They quite possibly saved my relationship. 😂 Thank you! I later met Simon and I pre-ordered our very tasty, fresh stone baked pizza for the following evening. He told us all about the well stocked mobile bar that also provided bacon sandwiches for breakfast. The site had a nice feel about it with good size pitches. The toilets were immaculate and I really liked the outdoor shower option. We were a fair distance from the caravan next door which gave us a nice sense of privacy. The children met up with other kids on the field in the middle of the site which was clear for the kids to play. Which gave us adults a well deserved break. We explored local towns; historic Warwick, Leamington spa and Stratford which had a lovely butterfly farm and river walks. The highlight of the campsite was playing Bingo and doing a quiz in the marquee on the Saturday night. It was extremely entertaining. The kids loved it. The toilets were immaculate and I really liked the outdoor shower option. I will definitely visit again and perhaps try out the luxury safari tents.

Lovely location, well maintained site. Managers were friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers were good. There are a couple of outdoor showers-possibly not my best idea in October! 2 pubs in walking distance - 1 which doesn't do food and the other one is a bit further away but does do food. Site managers recommended the Indian Takeaway locally- delicious food and lovely, friendly staff. They even brought me a slice of birthday cake! Will return in the summer months as there are normally quizzes and other events that take place.
