Good prices for actual items but delivery is extremely pricey £12 is a lot for delivery that takes 3 days to come for a package of literally 6 tiny switches Wish I realised if I just spent £35 I could get free delivery it’s a good website I just think you lot need to make it more visible that there is free delivery over a certain amount and maybe lower price of delivery As I just realised it’s coming from Texas not the uk this price is actually pretty good therefore I’m changing my review

Could have been five stars. Despite me emailing the part no., image and data sheet for the sensors I needed, the "customer service rep" at High Wycombe was adamant Mouser could not supply the parts I needed for reasons which made no sense at all. I went ahead and placed the small order on the mouser.co.uk website and the order was duely shipped from Mouser's Texas warehouse arriving in the UK six days later by FedEx.

Good quality parts and excellent support. I'm impressed. Tamas moaning that he had to provide utility bills seems doesn't have understanding how it works in countries without ID cards and only way to prove your address is to show we're you pay bills.

I tried to order an item from the UK with the option of not opening an account with them (first, one time order) using my card, the amount got reserved successfully on the card. Then I got a mail that for opening an account and validating my card and shipping address I need to provide utility bills, to ensure security. I responded not understanding 1) how a utility bill is validating my card - considering the means of validating the authenticity of the utility bill copy itself -, 2) why they try to open an account for me despite my explicit choice not to, 3) if they are permitted and has the means and right policies in place handling purchase unrelated personal information, and 4) how sending even more personal information on unsecured channels (email) will not further degrade security instead of ensuring it. The representative was kind and told my questions are escalated further and I have the choice doing wire transfer - which I am not open for, I deliberately chose card payment. After couple of days of silence I decided they cannot be trusted with collecting and handling additional personal information on customers and generally handling a very very common, very simple and everyday single purchase reliably, something that I carry out routinely for many years now with various parties around the globe without exposing unnecessary personal information to an unknown system, they handle a simple internet order incompetently and unsecurely. The 2 point goes for the sales representative, he was kind, clear and prompt, the problem lies in the organisation. I will do my purchase elsewhere.

Personally, I've never had a problem with Mouser and found them to be fantastic. Out of all the big sellers (Farnell UK/UK RS Online/ Digi-Key etc.etc.) which I've used, Mouser are the ones that seem to always have what I need. I've ordered components on a Thursday/Friday and received them on Monday/Tuesday, from Texas USA! FREE POSTAGE & ALL DUE TAXES PAID BY MOUSER! (Orders of £33 Or more) Brilliant. I can't praise them enough and will always use Mouser if orders are £30 or more.

My order has been sitting "in the warehouse" for over a week, despite the website telling me the expected ship date was the day after I made the order. Clearly either lying or incompetent. Don't order from Mouser unless you are willing to wait for a longggg time...
