A caring, friendly place for cats to stay. The owner is very accommodating and always ensures that our instructions are followed. There is a warm inside pen and an enclosed outdoor area for each cat. These have always been immaculate on each of our visits. I would highly recommend the cattery.

We have been taking our three cats to Richard and his team since 2010 and wouldn’t go anywhere else. In normal years the cats probably board about five times a year. Everyone we have ever met has obviously been a cat lover. Two of the cats are on medication and care is always taken to note down the details and make sure it is given at the right frequency. The cats have always been well cared for and it’s evident that all the other cats staying there are well cared for. There are pens of varying sizes and the farmyard setting is very nice and beautifully maintained as is the cattery itself. From time to time we have needed to extend or shorten the length of the stay of our cats in the cattery and Richard and his team have always been helpful and flexible with this.

Picked up our 4 babies today who seem so well and happy. It was the first time our 2 young Burmese had been in, so I was really worried as they were so nervous. But it's obvious they were looked after and cared for really well. We've used this cattery for a few years now and we've always found it to be immaculately clean and professional. I would have no hesitation highly recommending, we have 2 very demanding Bengals but they always come home happy and healthy😃

I'm really unhappy with the service I got here. When we arrived to drop off the cats we were greeted with "I'm not expecting anyone." After checking their booking sheet they did manage to find us and allocated my cats a pen. The size of it was alright but it was poorly lit and there wasn't anything in it other than a log. The staff member on duty didn't interact with the cats in any way and didn't even ask me which cat was which. I understand that she was a bit flustered but I didn't feel great about leaving my cats there. I gave them the benefit of the doubt though and put it down to an admin mishap. When we arrived to pick the cats back up, we were once again met with someone who was surprised to see us and we were promptly told "we're closed, it's a Bank Holiday". This was news to us as our booking had been accepted and we were due to pick the cats up. The man said that several people had turned up today saying the same thing and he tried to charge me for tomorrow as well because of that. I had to get out my confirmation email to prove to him that I wasn't lying and that the cattery had in fact taken my booking to end on a Bank Holiday. Again, this staff member had no interaction with my cats, I got no update on how they had been, I have no idea if they got played with, brushed, or if anyone spent any time with them at all. I have literally no information about their stay at all and frankly in future I would rather not go on holiday than take my cats here again. I understand that there was clearly an admin failure here. I suggest to them that if they cannot manage to transfer information from an email booking onto their paper forms that perhaps they should either not accept email bookings or seriously review their admin processes.
