    Difficult to get appointments, receptionist have limited empathy, appointments not with Drs meaning wait for urgent prescriptions, even for children, appointments at GP other side of town, No follow up. Down to years of lack of funding granted, but the system is truly broken.

    I have been given so much dangerous and unhelpful ‘medical advice’ from doctors here The team at Broomfields jaws dropped when I told them after an MRI the doctor called back with my results and said I could become paralysed from the neck down and laughed. I took my daughter here for a referral for an autism screening and I was told there’s no point sending one as it would just be declined and it’ll “just get picked up at school age anyway” and “I’m just putting my anxiety onto her. It’s places like this that give GPS a bad name.

    This has been a 1-star surgery for a long time though things seem to be on the up. The new appointment booking system means I was called back instead of waiting and was able to get an appointment within a couple of days. The telephone assistant was friendly and helpful. A breath of fresh air compared to how things used to be.

    I had yesterday my first appointment through the phone, after 5 minutes of me explaining the symptoms I have, the doctor just put me on hold without saying anything and then dropped the call. No-one called me back from GP. That was very disrespectful. What am I paying taxes for?

    I've booked an appointment for a telephone review in two days time. Half a day before my appointment I got a text from the surgery saying they have cancelled my appointment. I called surgery to rebook my appointment, but they were only able to give me one in a week time. The appointment was booked for today at 5pm. GP contacted me twice before my 5:00 pm appointment (around 4:00 pm and 4:40 pm). However, I was not able to answer my phone because I was working still at 4:00pm and I was driving home at 4:40pm. GP left a message for me to rebook my appointment. So the third time I've contacted the surgery to rebook my appointment. However, they told me I could not book an appointment in the evening. If I want to book one I must call them tomorrow morning. This is going to be my fourth call.
