I saw a car that matched, no exceeded my expectations and immediately spoke with Alex Mir - having not seen the car “is the deposit refundable” if I’m not happy I asked - “absolutely- as you are buying online you have extra protection”. In the midst of battling COVID I thought this was too good to be true and promptly paid the deposit to secure the vehicle. Within minutes I received a text with a picture actually stating that deposit was non refundable and in fact if I went through with the purchase I could be liable for additional charges if I then backed out. My biggest mistake was relying solely on their supposedly great Autotrader reviews - Google is your friend - after doing more research on this dealer I thought better of the deal - too good to be true and I’m pleased I did - no deposit return, dodging my calls - I have now written the money off as an expensive lesson to be learned - learn from my mistake and only part with money if you are sure this is for you.
