Restaurant is in South Kensington close to the tube station. Food is expensive due to location. Food is sadly rather bland in taste. I am of Indian origin but unlike other Indians I don’t eat spicy food and I don’t take masala. So when I mean bland, it was very bland as my palate is already bland. I found this place does not even do basics like salt, ginger, garlic. I think it’s probably more suitable for people who just don’t know what Indian food is about. There is nothing special about the place compared to others. Positives are that it’s clean, you are not going to get unwell from eating here. Always busy inside.

Didn't provide a jug of tap water, only glasses of un-iced water on the third time of asking. No ice in the drinks we ordered (fruit juices). Popadoms were stale. One of our side dishes didn't turn up. Service was slow. I felt that we were a nuisance to them. Limited menu - and nothing out-of-the-ordinary. Prices good. The food was okay. Nothing exceeded our expectations of a curry house. The Korai and Tikka Masala sauces were bland, run-of-the-mill. The Chana Masala felt thrown-together. The setting was clean, with good linen, and ample space. The lighting was a little bright. Toilets were immaculate. I felt that we could have spent our money much better elsewhere, considering the number of restaurants in the locale.
