I would give this another star but the ducks here are very snooty and never accept the cornflakes I throw at them. It is an oasis in the middle of Motcomb and is the source of the Bourne from which Eastbourne got its name. I go there every morning with my Chihuahua and every day it is a little different. Ducks still snooty though.

Quiet and small place to enjoy a picnic, read a book or to throw corn at the ducks in the pond.

A remarkable place with history and a great pond, garden and roses etc. Worth reading up about the site and history. There are flint stone remains from the old farm. The pond is the source of the Bourne stream which Eastbourne is named after. There is a hidden walk way at the back which goes up hill and out into the housing.
