Nice little park, private, it costs £60 per year to join. Is open free on Wednesdays. Festivals in summer. Dog friendly, a lake with ducks & geese. Picnic areas. One toilet. One swing for kids. Wild area at the bottom with small wildlife pond & loud birdsong.

I've known and regularly visited this park for over 40 years and found it a glorious, magical, well-maintained hidden gem. I repeatedly gave it 5 stars. I'm so sorry to report that it now looks tired, exposed and unloved. Walking there today, the tree-lined perimeter enclosing a magical space has largely been eroded. The paths are now more difficult to transit than I ever remember, at any time of year, being muddy, undefined and neglected. What's happened to our park? 😪
