Great place to visit, all run by really enthusiastic volunteers, free entry but worth giving donations to keep it going. Can't rate it high enough. The grandkids enjoyed it as much as I did. Parking: Just drive through the gate and into the field

Great place to visit. Loads to see. Meccano and train sets are awsome. Plus you can have a ride on a train. Highly recommend a place to visit. 😍

The heritage name was really lived up to by this place, from the very start when me and my parents went into the mining section with hard hats on. We enjoyed the trains section the most however, loving seeing the model railways, vintage trains, carefully crafted models and riding on the mini railway! There are models up of other vehicles, such as planes and cars, as well as ones of landmarks that are great too. The staff were really friendly, welcoming us and chatting away, before we picked up a couple of classic rail books from the shop!
