Appalling, booked a taxi for the airport with 2 car seats for our small children. Taxi first couldn't find us, then turned up with no car seats and we were told to just put in our own. We had to abandon the cab and drive to the airport in a massive rush and pay a fortune for long stay parking because we hadn't pre-booked.

I used this service for three years and now have to quit and find another cab service to airport. They were fine before and now their service is getting worse and worse. Drivers never help with luggage- I know it’s not their job but I’m a young fragile woman why not to help. Of course this is not the reason I put one star. They started ripping me off. Yesterday I ordered taxi for my friend from airport and when she arrived the driver charged her £5 extra for waiting time!!!! When I came out to understand what’s going on he said he was waiting for her 50 min and that’s why we have to pay more???? Really???? When I explained that in the confirmation text there’s nothing said about this charge and waiting time the driver called the operator and he confirmed that!!! I explained again that it’s not our fault that immigration control took so long despite the flight landed on time. Anyway your £5 extra made you loose the client who use your service at least 7 or 8 times a year. Well done !! And I will ask all my friends who I recommended this service to find another one!!! Never on time. Always late. We had been with Mortlake Cars for 3 years but their delays got worse and worse. All other companies we and our neighours/friends use are here at least 10mins before but the Mortlake Cars drivers are always late. I called them a couple of times telling them that their driver was late and that this is not ok for us. I got a lot of promises but they were just empty ones. Nothing changed. I would not recommend this car service.
