Very very bad service. 👎 I am still waiting to receive my tax refund and it has been 6 months. Replying to emails very late, won't tell you the reason why and when I will receive my money. Shame on them.

Con artists. Somehow have managed to make a tax refund claim on my behalf and not paying out. Spoke to Riley on the phone who was rude and would not let me know his last name. Scared of something I assume

Acted on my behalf and claimed my tax refund without my consent. Have tried contacting them and HMRC about this but apparently nobody can help me. I even verified my account on Trustpilot because I don't trust the validity of these positive reviews. Anyone who sees this, know that this company is not registered as an Appointed Representative with the Financial Conduct Authority and therefore cannot make claims on your behalf. This is illegal activity and should be reported as such, by as many people as possible. Report via AcionFraud Company number is 12445910, contact details available on their website. :)

What an absolute scam that was?!. I owed from hmrc £60.83. Mortgage smiths gave me a cheque £11.63 and that was bounced back. However, after calling them they transfered £11.63 to my account. Later, I asked them why have I got only that amount? They told me rest of the money they took for their admin fees £20 and 48% their service charge. I was totally horrified. Shame on them for their money scam.

Absolute scam!!!! I have never heard of this company but received a tax rebate of £62 but only got £12 cheque from a place called mortgage smiths! I phoned them and they said it was their admin and charges fee! Obviously I was annoyed but I still put in my cheque. This was back in October. The first one bounced and then I complained and they sent another in the January. This has bounced again. I have tried contacting them and their number isn’t recognised but I went on their website and it wouldn’t let me send a complaint but their website is still up and running so I’m not sure if they are still scamming people! I know £12 isn’t a lot of money but by the end it was more the principle! They are awful human beings and Richard hammonds who is the director. Shame on you.
