One of the best places I’ve had good Arabic food at and I’m so disappointed that they closed. Anyone knows what’s happened?

Was ok, nothing special, poor customer service, everyone is grumpy as F, does it hurt to smile? Mix grill was mediocre and they overdone the plate with parsley, very mediocre

Amazing food and service, you feel proper looked after. Had the best lamb in my whole life. I'd highly recommend the Mixed Grill and the Lamb Byriani

Starters were perfect, we had a mixed mezze for two and falafel, couldn't fault it- absolutely delicious. Main course- we ordered a mixed grill, what a disaster. The lamb kebab was like chewing old boots, inedible & too tough to eat. We sent it back, showing them it was too tough to bite. The chef brought it back 10 minutes later and it was still inedible. He apologetically told us they'd been sold a bad cut of meat, hence there was nothing he could do. We gave up with the lamb and attempted the chicken. Had one piece and left the rest. This was not cooked too great either and had not been marinated long as the middle was bland and still white. We left our grill pretty much untouched. Shockingly we were charged the full amount despite them apologising for the meat being inedible and us returning the platter barely touched. The potentially saving grace could have been the complimentary tea & baklava we were served. Disappointingly the tea was terrible too. Not an Arabic or Moroccan tea, but just a very weak cheap peppermint one. The waitress was polite and courteous but needs to be more familiar with the menu. She was unable to answer simple questions like what a mix grill included and didn't know what a kofta or minced kebab was & had to keep running to the kitchen (3 times) to ask the chef. We were very surprised as other reviews are encouraging. Maybe this was a one off as it was late on a Saturday evening & we were the only diners there. Well I guess we will never now.
