A remarkable reminder of the sacrifices of WWI. The camps here housed troops of over twice tide population of Winchester at the time. An incredible view whether clear or foggy, with very little visible sign of the 2 million troops who came through here 1914 - 1918.

This was a lovely, peaceful and interesting place to visit. I took my dog for a walk, who had to be kept on a lead at all times due to cattle grazing but that was no issue. Lovely views and well maintained pathways.
