Just had a lovely week here! The couple looking after the place was lovely and friendly which always make the stay more pleasant. And Theresa, thankyou very much for the chilli flakes. Would definitely recommend a stay here, the grounds are kept very well and toilets and showers the same.

We can here for 4 nights in September 2022. A really nice site which is lovely and clean and very well maintained. Nice flat and spacious pitches with a choice of grass or hard standing. Fantastic shower and amenity block which was spotlessly clean. The wardens were both very helpful, before we arrived on the phone, and whilst on site. Spent some time fishing in the site pond which provided some great sport and caught lots of nice carp and silver fish too. Very handy for York and all its attractions but also in some great countryside. We had a small dog with us which was made very welcome. There is a train line alongside the site but it never bothered us. Great walking to be had on Strensall Common. Absolutely no complaints from us about anything. We will definitely be coming back again in the near future. Paul Dawn and Bella.
